Underrated Countries: Poland
Let’s face it, we all love Poland, even if we don’t know it yet. But what is it that draws us all to this beautiful country, the food? The culture? The history? It’s probably a mix of all of these things, but let’s go into detail.
When you touch down in the beautiful city of Warsaw ( I’m generalizing), you’re bound to be hungry, so why not try some exquisite Pole cuisine. Delicious BIgos, delectable Golabki, and don’t forget the delightful Kotlet Schabowy. Your tastebuds will never be the same (in a good way of course) as the Poles are known for their love of pork and lamb, with all the above meals featuring either one or both. After your main course is over don’t be afraid to try some spectacular desserts, kremowkas, Faworki, Krowki, Kutia, these are just some of the cream-filled pastries you’re bound to find in a corner-store pastry shop that are found all over in Poland. But we haven’t even begun to talk about the greatest part of the nation, its history.
Believe it or not, Poland is over a thousand years old (almost as old as your mother), and in it’s long history, Poland as we know it, has been in its current state since 1999, when it joined NATO seven years after the fall of the USSR. Poland only became a country again in 1918 after it regained independence after losses to Prussia, Russia, and Austria, who all held capital in the divided country, but Poland suffered during WW2, being invaded by both Germany and the Soviet Union.
Lastly, let’s talk about the amazing scenery you’re certain to find once you arrive in the beautiful country. From the beautiful castles, to the scenic mountain ranges, you’re bound to find something that appeals to your taste in fine views. If you struggle to find a place to visit, then it’s entirely your fault for lacking a fun part of your cerebrum ,and I would recommend for you to get that checked out by a medical doctor.
In closing, Poland is a beautiful country, with subjectively beautiful people, from the delicious foods, to the prestigious history, it’s amazing that such amazing culture is packed into such miniscule landmass. It would be a serious shame if you didn’t consider visiting such an amazing and underrated country.
