Kyrane Beasley is a sophomore in Blackfoot High School. She is Lemhi-Shoshone and a member of the indigenous club. She grew up in Fort Hall specifically Ross Fork and has admirable goals to become a veterinarian which she has always dreamed of since she was 10. 5 years later, she still shares the same goals to help animals and shares her adventure.
Kyrane plans to go to college after high school to major in Biology and animal science, as she states, “Anything around veterinary care”. Though she is working through some hardships of procrastination and talking in front of people she plans to focus this school year and is writing out a speech to improve her confidence in a room full of people.
As a hobby Kyrane Beasley is working on a book that she plans to publish in the near future where she graduates college and begins working in veterinary care. She also enjoys reading, crochet, knitting, and watching documentaries about all types of animals. Her biggest motivation is her great grandma who has worked hard for many years and is the “backbone” of the family tree.
Kyrane enjoys spending time with friends and family and embraces her culture in the Indigenous club. She lives with her grandparents, aunties, uncles, two sisters, and cousins. She says her family is very chaotic, but very loving and she appreciates them everyday. She has a clear view for the future and a very unique and honorable plan to help and save animals.
