The Sandwich combo from Raising Canes is what I would expect from a typical sandwich place, and that’s what disappoints me. From the soggy bun, to the bland chicken, to the realization that I couldn’t taste anything besides the sauce, which tasted like a worse fry sauce, did I mention previously that I hate fry sauce? All of this adds up to a simple realization: I dislike boring food. The entire meal could be classified as boring, from the nine french fries they gave me, to the bland chicken, to the watered-down coke, all of which left an impression on me of not trying. Tsk, tsk, I’m disappointed.
The Raising Cane’s Box Combo is probably one of the most popular items to order on the menu but it was just okay. The chicken tenders weren’t even crispy, they were soggy, they were also very bland probably due to the fact that they want customers to dip the chicken in their famous Cane’s sauce. The Cane’s sauce is overrated. It literally tastes like regular fry sauce which made me disappointed. The best thing about the Box combo is the Texas Toast. It was crispy and had more flavor than the chicken. If you want to save money and still have quality food just go to KFC since they have the superior chicken
