The Blackfoot Esports team had tryouts this December.
Mr. Ryan Hudson has been a coach for esports for all 5 years that the program has been running. Hudson said the most popular games in Eports are Marvel Rivals and Super Smash Bros. Marvel Rivals is a new game added to the Idaho Esports competition this season.
In previous years, the three teams that went to state were Smash Bros, Valorent and Overwatch. The team hopes that Esports will make its way to every school and to have multiple teams so they have a bigger opportunity to go to state.
