Blackfoot High School has adopted a new bell system that has the students and teachers confused about what the bell could mean. The school has gotten rid of the old bell system and replaced it with a new one that has a lot of faults and has brought out more cons than pros with it.
When asking around the school, I heard from the students that they disliked the new bell, and they preferred the old one. I also asked a couple of teachers and the secretaries, and they commented by saying that it’s confusing to tell when the bell rings or an announcement is being made
This has disrupted many classes, and in some classrooms, you don’t even get to hear them, causing people to miss important announcements. Then when an announcement was being made, some students took it at the final bell and left their classrooms and walked out of the school while still having time left before it was time to leave the school.
