Easter is the time of year when everyone goes egg hunting for that sweet golden egg with money inside. The time when the family comes to eat good food and play games for prizes. Easter has been celebrated for nearly 2,000 years and has many different traditions from family to family. We interviewed people around Blackfoot High School to show what they did for Easter.
Robbi Lash:
Robbi Lash states, “I had an amazing, but lowkey boring easter. I had celebrated with dinner with my family and we had Ham and homemade potato salad.”
Caylie Noalan:
“I had a good Easter. It was boring and all we did was go to the store and buy candy and have a big dinner.”
Estella Rodriguez Quezada:
“My easter was pretty nice, me and my family did a cookout. I usually hide eggs from my cousin but they went salmon fishing, so it was just a potluck. I helped with some of the cooking and we did a barbecue in the yard, not too much but it was nice to spend time with my family.”
Wyatt Wadsworth:
“I did an Easter egg hunt and won 50 dollars.” Wyatt also spent quality time with his family and had lots of fun.
