Hector Silva (12) tied with Josh Barker (12) in a recent Autos competition.
Silva’s favorite part was taunting Gasca. He got second but is going to let BYU and ISU decide who is first. Hector thought the whole thing was the best. Nothing really inspired Silva to join Autos because he was already working on cars. He has been to 6 or seven of the auto competitions
Barker’s favorite part of the competition was getting to see his friend Big Mike between the stations. He got 1st place. His favorite thing about the competitions was seeing Silva get second. Same as Silva, Barker was working on cars before he joined the Autos club, but what made him stick with it was how much fun it was. He also has been to 6 or 7 of the competitions.
Kiegan Lyon’s (12) favorite part of the competition was just seeing his friends and competing against them and seeing them enjoy themselves. He was inspired by the club because he enjoys working on cars and learning about them. He also worked on them for many years before the club, but the thing that inspired him was Silva and Barker, who wanted him to join because they enjoyed his presence. He also has been to 6 or 7 competitions
