The Blackfoot High School held its annual Veterans Day Assembly on November 11, 2025, bringing together staff and students to recognize and honor the men and women who served our country.
This year’s guest speaker was Jonathan Hay, a sergeant with the Blackfoot Police Department and a United States Marine Corps veteran. Sgt. Hay spoke about his experiences and shared stories from his time in the military. He explained some of the challenges he faced and how military life taught him very important lessons.
In the end, the assembly helped the students understand the significance of Veterans Day. Sgt. Hay’s message to the Blackfoot High School reminded everyone to be grateful for the people who have served our country.
