Crumbl Cookie was founded back in 2017 by Jason McGowen and Sawyer Hemsley. They gained popularity back in 2020 which is still ongoing with new menus to this day.
I got my hands on their chocolate chip cookie for $5, which is pretty crazy for a single cookie, since I think I can get a pack of cookies from Walmart with the same money, but I digress. There were many different flavors, but because the pricing for the cookies was way too expensive for my budget that day, I was only able to get one.
What I liked most was that the cookie was very soft along the size of both the cookie and the chocolate chips. There was a good amount of chocolate chips in the cookie. Which gave me a very good first impression since chocolate chip cookies are one of my favorite kinds, and sometimes there aren’t enough chocolate chips and cookie ratio. However, that was only what I liked about the cookie.
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t really enjoy treats that are way too sugary. When I took a bite out of the cookie, it felt like I just got cavities on every single one of my teeth. I actually didn’t even finish it; instead, I shared it with my family after drinking some water, not out of disgust, but for the fact that it was way too sweet.
My rating for the cookie is a 6/10, and I believe that Crumbl Cookie is worth the hype for people who can actually handle the amount of sugar they have inside the treats. However, for me, I don’t think I will camp outside Crumbl to get their new special edition cookie.
