Angela Trejo

Angela Trejo, Editor

Angela Trejo is a senior this year at Blackfoot High School. The reason Angela joined the Newspaper club/class is because she has always had an interest in writing and wanted to get better at it, believing that the Newspaper class would help her with that. She serves as a Co-Editor in Chief for the club. The other clubs and activities she participates in are the Photography club, Future Hispanic Leaders of America (FHLA), Color Guard, and Marching Band. She says her favorite school subject is science, with her favorite teachers being Bynum and Pettinger. In her spare time, she is either scrolling through TikTok, taking a nap, or just laying in bed doing nothing. After she graduates from Blackfoot High School, she plans to join an Open Class marching band for the summer. Once summer is over, she then plans to go to Idaho State University (ISU) to study nuclear engineering. Angela added that if she happens to dislike nuclear engineering, she plans to study architecture instead.

Trejo has six siblings and is the youngest of the group. Out of those six siblings, only one of them is a full sibling, with the rest being half. Angela has six pets, four of them being cats by the names of Tippy, Tappy and Sphinx. She explained that the reason the fourth cat does not have a name yet is because it is a kitten. The two other pets are Great Pyrenees dogs named Yuki and Yuri. Her favorite genre of music is Indie Pop, but she says she will listen to practically anything except for Country and Rap. Her favorite musicians are a band named The Happy Fits and an artist named Mac Miller, who has just recently became one of her favorites. Angela says she doesn’t necessarily have a favorite food, but does claim to love pasta and street tacos. When asked whether she considered herself to be a more introverted or extroverted person, she said she is introverted when you first get to know her, but becomes extroverted once she deems you capable enough to handle it. Angela added that it takes a while for her to become extroverted with people.

Angela’s favorite movie series is the Kingsman series. The series is described as an action series involving the United Kingdom’s Secret Service agency. When asked what her favorite war was, she chose the Vietnam War. Trejo explained it was her favorite war because her grandfather had served in the Air Force at the time of the war. Angela's favorite memes are marching band memes such as this one:
