Kailynn Miller, Editor-in-chief
Kailynn Miller, is a senior at Blackfoot High School. She has been in Newspaper for 3 years and her initial thoughts are that she enjoys it very much. She doesn’t have any more plans on interacting with the school and sticking to the activities she already does. She is part of FCCLA, NHS, and orchestra. Her favorite part of Newspaper is the people and how welcoming and kind they are. Her main reason for joining the class is that she just enjoys writing and would recommend it to anyone and everyone that attends BHS. Kailynn’s favorite subject is science and her proudest achievements are all of her academic achievements. The only problems she has with the school is that it needs air conditioning and how crowded the halls are. One thing she would like the school to add is a hall monitor to help with the crowd control in between classes. Her plans after school are to go to college and join the Marines. Her fondest memory of high school was at the homecoming football game her junior year because of the fireworks and the bonfire that occurred afterwards. A memory Kailynn had when she was younger was her getting kicked out of swimming lessons and being completely banned. When asked about evaluating the situation she just explained she was just a very terrible swimmer. Another thing she talked about doing when she was younger was stealing stuff. Her fondest memory of this year was riding her dirt bike in Montana and camping. The 5 words she used to describe herself were funny, reserved, smart, outgoing, and nice. When asked about her role model she showed no hesitation to instantly say it was her father. The dream super power she would like to have is telepathy or the ability to read minds. The fast food restaurants she enjoys the most are Dominos and KFC. Kailynn’s favorite part about her high school is that it is bigger than the old school she attended and it includes more opportunities for her and her peers that attend it. Her several hobbies include: playing the cello, gaming, kayaking, camping, and riding. Kailynn has worked on several articles during her 8 trimesters of newspaper but the one that stood out to her which was also her favorite is, “Approach Determines Response”. The last question she answered had to do with her favorite shoes being her custom converse.
