“Creativity is Intelligence having fun” -Albert Einstein
Joshua Hone, “Josh”, is a Junior at Blackfoot High School and has been in Newspaper once before, where he joined alongside his friend Greyson Kohler. He has written a Feature and a review for The BroncWriter. Of the two, his personal favorite is the review on the novel The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson.
Hone’s pastimes include playing his guitar, baking, reading, playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends, writing his own multi-genre novel, and listening to a bit of music. Lately, country music has been on his playlist, along with whatever music he is currently learning on his guitar. When asked for what genre of book he liked most, Hone answered, “I really, really like Brandon Sanderson’s fantasy books. Those are awesome, but just about any fictional genre, except for horror, is great for me”. And in terms of film, he said he was “a sucker for action movies”.
Other fun facts about Hone include that his favorite color is midnight blue and his favorite number is seven. His least favorite word in the English language is “boring” because, “the word boring is way too interesting of a word to mean what it does”.
Given the opportunity to go anywhere and any time, Hone would travel back to 1776 Philadelphia to witness the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This is pulled from his knowledge of history, which is a subject he excels at alongside English.
