Joshua Hone, Co-Editor in Chief
Say hello to Blackfoot High School’s senior Joshua Allan Hone, or Josh for short. A returning veteran to The BroncWriter, this year as Co-editor in Chief, he is looking towards guiding this year's new members to be the best they can be. He has been a member or TheBroncWriter for 3 years, starting this journey in his third trimester of his sophomore year, and he’s been helping to write Features, Reviews, and get the news out to the people of Blackfoot High School. We can't wait to see what kind of amazing articles and stories he'll write for us this year.
Josh has enjoyed his time in classes involving writing, such as English, newspaper, and philosophy. He developed a strong passion for writing after he got sick of reading other people’s stories and decided to try writing his own. Since he reached that point in his life, Josh has dedicated much of his time to writing stories here on the bronc writer and outside of school as well. This eighteen-year-old’s goal after he graduates high school is to participate in an LDS mission, and eventually go to college. Josh plans on going to college to study in business communications, however in terms of career paths, Josh is looking in one of three directions. He would like to be a Novel/fiction writer, a sales rep, or even a motivational speaker. Regardless of the path he chooses, Josh is sure to do great things.
Josh is very modest about his talents and skills; He enjoys playing the guitar and is a very modest chef in the kitchen. If given the option, Josh would like to visit Greece or Rome to experience the architecture and historical sights. Some big achievements for Mr. Hone are winning regional National History Day two out of three years and making it to Quarter finalist in the BlackSnake debate tournament. He is the proud owner of a 12 year old mastiff-black lab mix.
Last but not least is the message he'd like to leave behind for future generations of Blackfoot High: “Don't bother being Valedictorian if you're not going to enjoy your educational career!”
