On Friday, September 20th, Blackfoot High School held a Homecoming Tailgate, and the Homecoming football game. The Blackfoot Broncos won the football game, 16-12 against Bonneville.
The Tailgate for the football game was a hit among many people! The tailgate had different vendors, and fun things such as photobooths! It was held at 5:30 P.M. They had snow cones, food and interactive games for family and friends. All of these things got the Blackfoot Broncos ready for their game against Bonneville.
The theme for this game was the U.S.A Olympics, and it started at 7:00 P.M. The participation from the students and the crowd encouraged the players on the field.
The Football players had a lot of encouragement from their peers. The student section was going crazy, dressing up in different colors to represent the U.S.A Olympics theme. They also had the Cheerleaders, the Fillies, and the Marching band playing and cheering for them from the field. Their performances and encouragement pushed the players to win the game.
The cheerleaders were interacting with the students in the bleachers, making them cheer loud and proud for our football team. The Fillies were dancing on the field during halftime, and so did the marching band.
