Miranda Rueda, Staff Reporter
The bubbly, humorous Miranda Rueda is a senior at Blackfoot High School who is going into her first trimester of newspaper! Rueda says she joined newspaper, not only because it was a cool extracurricular, but because she cares about the news. She loves that we can have creative freedom on what we want to write about, but she said she’d only recommend taking the class if you enjoy writing because it can be a lot of work. Now, to get to know her a little better, here’s some of her favorites:

- food? Thai Curry (the red one)

- hobbies? Watching tv (specifically documentaries)
- class? English
- Teacher? Maldonado, because you can talk to her the most about personal stuff
But to really get to know someone, you have to ask more than just ‘favorite’ questions, so here we go:
- If you could have only one food for the rest of your life what would it be?
- Sandwich, you can put anything in between, grilled cheese

- People who don’t discipline their kids in public

- What’s something about yourself that you find interesting?
- I would say I’m pretty humorous and have a funny personality
- What’s the worst thing about Blackfoot High School?
- There’s not much room for opinion and on top of that, there are few teachers that will be completely unbiased.
- What’s one thing you would change about the school?
- There’s not a lot of clubs, so I would say more clubs and more diversity within those clubs
- If you could have 3 superpowers
- um, probably invisibility, super speed, fly
- Anything else you think is important I know?
- I love to bullet journal! I started in January, it’s just so therapeutic.
- How many languages do you speak?
- One and a half (English and Spanish) XD
- Are there any languages you would like to learn?
- Probably Korean and German
- I know you shaved your head over “coronacation”, what drove you to do that?
- I was seeing all those TikToks saying to do it so you could tell your kids you actually did it, so I did.
- Would you advise someone else to shave their head?
- Why not, it’ll grow back!
After high school, she plans on going to ISU to get her RN. After she accomplishes that, she plans on moving to Washington state and further her education by pursuing a PhD to become a midwife. Overall, Rueda is a kind, beautiful (inside and out), hilarious girl who is just so much fun to be around!
