ART

The art department led by first year teacher, Stephanie Talbot, recently created an art gallery for the community to come and view student’s artwork and creations. This event helps showcase creative pieces not seen anywhere else.

Opening for student’s enjoyment Nov 3rd and continuing on until Saturday Nov 4th, this art show case was in conjunction with the Artrageous concert. As people waited to go see the show, they could wander and discover. Being held in the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center near the end of the first trimester, student projects filled the walls.

“I love art, it’s a beautiful way to express myself,” Kaylee Cook (10)said, “It calms me and makes me happy.”

Ranging from landscapes to video game fan art, the student’s creativity can shine. Truly a unique site full a vibrant colors and untraditional medium, like string and nails instead of a traditional watercolor.

With hundreds of pieces of art our school can truly showcase our school’s creative side. Ranging from freshman all the way to seniors, skill levels very and students hoping to go into art are given an opportunity to showcase their art.
