Blackfoot High School had a riveting football game against Pocatello last Friday, Sept. 12, with loud cheers, perfect sportsmanship and amazing entertainment from the cheerleaders and marching band.
Following a long and enjoyable game with some absolutely incredible plays and scores, Blackfoot won 41-12 against Pocatello High School.
Coach Stewart said, “We’re very happy with what happened and the end result. Briggs Espelin and Cade Espelin had so many amazing plays, plus the whole offensive line did absolutely amazing.”
Besides just the football game being a fun and enjoyable experience, we had the entirety of the student section wearing blue to show support for suicide awareness. Our student section cheered loud and proud for our football team. Everything stayed fun and we maintained good sportsmanship.
Additionally, the cheerleaders and marching band provided us with fantastic entertainment to hype up the student section and the community watching the game.
The cheerleaders led the crowd in cheers like “Dynamite.”The marching band played in the stands with songs like our school song and stand tunes like “Hey Baby.”
