Kalea Lynne Morris, preferably called Rhyse, is a freshman this year and this is her first year joining newspaper. She says she wanted to join the newspaper staff because she loves writing and she wanted to be a part of a club here at BHS. Her hobbies include drawing, writing, and debating. Rhyse said one of her favorite classes in school would have to be debate, this is because she took a political class in 7th grade and she ended up not knowing it was political. She said by the time she got into the class she couldn't back out. She ended up writing many papers and debated a lot, this is what grew her liking to debate. Rhyse said her family brings her the most happiness in her life. She is an older sister and has 6 birds, 3 dogs, 2 fish, and 1 cat.

Her goals in life after high school are to attend a college that gives her the best opportunities and education on going into being a special effect makeup artist or an animator. She also wishes to get a dog of her own one day. She said she would get a Blue Heeler because she likes the color of the dog and her aunt has a couple. When asked if she had to be an animal she said she would be a dog.

When asked if she could live anywhere where she would live, she replied with Japan, because she loves the culture. Also a fun fact is that Rhyse is learning Japanese. She had also said something she has always wanted to try is skydiving or swimming in a shark tank. She likes to do many thrilling things.

If you are into Avatar the Last Airbender and rock music, you should definitely be friends with Rhyse. She says she can re-watch this movie so many times.
