Sprinkles are overrated, and they don’t bring anything to the table. They are just there to “pizazz” the experience. They might be colorful, but they are full of red 40 and any other food dyes just to make your ice cream cone pretty.
Sprinkles are the equivalent of a pretty person but with no personality; they are empty on the inside. They full on trick you into thinking you are going to have an amazing, colorful experience with a cake or ice cream, but they fool you, fool you hard like the Joker.
Sprinkles come with many health hazards and no positives. One of the first ingredients is high-fructose corn syrup, which already sounds unhealthy. Corn syrup can cause type 2 diabetes. They also have wax, which can cause irritation, naturally, stomach pain, and even vomiting. (To someone with a sensitive digestive system.)
Lastly, the worst one: FOOD COLORING! The sprinkles come with Red 40, Blue 1, and or Yellow 5. Some research has been done, and they have linked red 40 to hyperactivity, other behavioral problems with kids, and even DNA damage. Yellow 5 has also been linked with behavioral problems in kids, which is not good, of course. Now Blue 1 has been linked with the nervous system cells. All of these food coloring has many hazards, and all of them are towards kids. It’s like they have beef with children, and I’m not going to let that happen. #leavekidsalone
Sprinkles are too much but not enough. We should move on from sprinkles, and we should put coconut shaving or chocolate chips on our ice cream. Sprinkles are confirmed to hate kids, and we should stop supporting that horrible action. Sprinkles are overrated and under hated.
