Food Review: Costa Vida
Where do I even begin? Let’s start with the buildup to the fateful event.
I had just gotten in my truck after watching Blackfoot’s soccer team win as usual. Now, I would normally never consider spending my hard-earned money at a low-class establishment such as Taco Bell, or the like. I prefer fine dining at my house or places like Subway. However, due to extenuating circumstances ( I was bored), I decided to enter a place I would normally never dream of entering, Costa Vida.
Imagine, if you will, a shrimp quesadilla, along with a chocolate chip cookie, finished off by a succulent Dr. Pepper. As soon as I obtained the bag, a heavenly aura surrounded me, angels descended from above and told me that the twenty dollars that I spent would not go to waste before disappearing in a mist.
I sped home whilst savoring the aroma in the air. Upon arrival, I entered my humble abode, opened the bag, and took a picture of the appetizing meal.
Delicious. I already know, I couldn’t wait to consume it.
I opened the quesadilla container and bit down. Instantly, my mouth was flooded with shrimp and cheese. I was overjoyed; it was better than anything a lower-quality Mexican restaurant could ever offer. I devoured it in about six to seven minutes before chowing down on the chocolate chip cookie that I got. The soothing aroma of the cookie filled the air, and the taste was supreme, filling my soul with joy and whimsy. As I sipped on my cold Dr.Pepper, I pondered on how amazing my meal was.
Overall, I would rate my meal a 9/10. First, my shrimp quesadilla was a perfect 10, the shrimp and cheese combined perfectly to melt in your mouth, the cookie was scrumptious, its flavor bold and brash, and the doctor pepper was a timeless classic.
In conclusion, this was pretty good, considering that it comes from the best Mexican place in town, the end.
