Game-a-thon happened on May 8, 2025, in the new gym hosted by our very own Drama teacher, Mr. Spjute, from 8:30 pm to 6:00 Am.
It cost 20 dollars for the entry fee to stay the night, where you had to bring a pillow, a blanket, and some games to play with, whether that be a video game or a board game, but if you brought a video game, you had to bring your TV. A legal guardian must have picked you up if you were leaving early. Leaving early would be a mistake with all the activities that night.
When people first arrived, they chose a corner or section of the new gym. Then you would set up your area, and then later in the night, we got told the instructions and our schedule.
At 10 pm, a game started that went through the entire night, which was Mafia. We had to discover who the two masterminds were before 5 am. If we got killed, we had to make a super dramatic show of our death.
Then, at midnight, they served us hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner.
Then, at 2 am, we watched a movie in the auditorium. It was a lot of fun with a lot of interactions with everyone around.
Mr. Loomis played DND with a bunch of students, and they had a lot of fun.
The night was a successful night where everyone had fun. So plan for next year so you don’t miss out on the fun.
