FCCLA is a club where you explore different careers. There are a lot of different events like design where you can make a dress or make food like a smoothie but just like many different careers, you can take a deep dive into the careers they are interested in. This club is for fun and just competing in different groups of careers. This is either an individual or a group presentation in a private room of judges.
FCCLA went to the state in Bosie. This is a 4 day competition where you compete, community type things like making treats for the elderly homes just doing service in the community, they do fundraisers and just chill and have fun and go play mermaids in the pool.
I went and found the two girls who won at state. Denise Corona, 11th grade, said she won second place for a super fruit smoothie and said that state was super fun. When I asked about her overall experience she gave it a ten out of ten and said you should join.. This just makes it such a more amazing adventure that I went to interview her friend who also won.
Hannah Alcaraz, 11th grade, said she won third place in food innovations and that state was overall a blast and fun to meet new people. She also claimed that the club is so fun and such a great experience .
FCCLA is the club for you if you need to figure out what you wanna do in the future or just have a certain interest in design, culinary etc. This club is super fun and gives you a lot of experience. So if you’re interested in anything with design, culinary etc. Then this is the club for you!
