Since the school has recently enforced a harsh cell-phone ban, here are my top 5 favorite unblocked games that you can play to keep you entertained without your phone!
5. Dinosaur Game
We’ve all played it. The game where the little dino runs and you have to jump over cacti and dodge the birds. It’s a classic form of entertainment for when the internet is blocked, and it buys you a few minutes of great fun! The reason it is marked at #5 is because you do the same thing over and over, and it does get a little bit boring after a little bit, but overall, it’s a classic and captivating game!
4. Solitaire
This game is perfect for using your brain when you don’t feel like using it in class! This classic card game has a very good format on Google with both easy and hard modes. If you want to get competitive and time yourself, you can, but if you just want to play and not worry about time, you can turn off the timer! Personally, I ranked this game at number 4 because I have rage quit this game too many times and am simply not good at solitaire, but I thoroughly enjoy it anyway! This game is very engaging for both the intellectuals, and the chill guys.
3. Emoji Kitchen
While it’s not “technically” considered a game, this fun simulator can show you what it looks like to combine any two emojis. (My personal favorite is the flamingo and the loaf of bread.) It is extremely fun and addictive to mix and match your favorite symbols and see some of the cursed images this game has to offer. I put this at number 3 because there’s no real objective, but it is very engaging and entertaining nonetheless. Have you ever wanted to know what it would look like if an Easter Island statue and a Jack-o-lantern had a baby? Well, now you can! Go crazy!
2. Doctor Who
If you’re a huge nerd like I am, you will love this speed and strategy Sci-Fi game. You play the doctor, and you must collect the letters G-O-O-G-L-E without getting caught by the Daleks, who will add a minute to your time. This game requires tons of skill and practice, and will have you playing for hours on end just to get a high score. I put this at number 2 because it doesn’t have a ton of variety in different levels, but it does all of the elements of a perfect game, and it makes my David Tennant-loving heart happy.
1.Snake
If I had a dollar for every minute I spent playing Snake, I wouldn’t need to apply for college scholarships. This classic game has been perfectly updated by Google, involving many different settings, speeds, fruit, and even the color and shape of your snake. There’s something fun for everyone to do, and you will be thoroughly captivated by the satisfaction factor. So get to it! Just type in “snake”, choose your level, and beat your high score!
