On April 10, 2025, the official Mr. BHS and Ms.BHS titles were taken by Dawandey Dilus and Ava Savage.
Our student body first began introducing our candidates, which included seniors Ava Savage, Ava Stufflebeam, Evany Wilson, Vandy Wheeler, Lily Robertson, Maddie Diaz, Wendy Cox, Megan Black, Addison Tanner, Hannah Speas, Cameryn Webb and Dylan Wanstrom for girls. The boy competitors included seniors Brayden Boyce, Jake Reid, Dawandey Dilus, Brycen Steffenson, Easton Cannon, Weston Layton, Zaven Fairchild, Koston Thurgood, Jaden Yancey, Ridge Seamons, Russell Bewely, Calvin Abercrombie, Ryder Ward, Benny Lopez and Caleb Eskelsen.
Every contestant went through a variety of activities. The boys danced to Single Ladies by Beyonce, All The Stars by Kendrick Lamar feat. SZA, TV Off by Kendrick Lamar and High School Musical.
After this, the girls did musical chairs. Then the boys did the scavenger hunt. They had to find a variety of things varying from the ROY bear, a water bottle, an Adidas shoe and their “type.” Then there was a race with the girls where they had to spin, pop a balloon and catch a football; the winner of this was Diaz..
The assembly started with a performance of the national anthem played by Eden Kreger (11) on the harp.
Lastly, the teachers did lightning, and the winner was Zach Reay.
