Esports club kickstarts their season

Esports is a form of competition for video games. It is usually a form of organized, multiplayer video game competitions. Esports for Blackfoot High School team tryouts were in the fall but the team starts the season around February.
I went around the school asking one of the coaches and three different kids what their goals were for the team, how it was being on the team and just their favorite game. They all had the same goals and how it was to be on the team and they said a big goal was to at least take first for state but, they also said any place 2nd or 3rd would be good as well.
They exclaimed that the team was super fun, caring and just awesome to compete in video games or something that they were interested in. If you want something fun to do or just love video games this would be a sport you would enjoy.
The games they play are Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Overwatch two.
Both Mr. Hudson, and Austin Vanderlieth (12) said that their favorite game was super smash bros Ultimate. For Super Smash Bros Ultimate there is a JV and Varsity, JV is currently ranked 11 out of 19 while varsity is ranked 5 out of 19.
In an interview, Vandy Wheeler and Noah Wilson both agreed Overwatch 2 is their favorite games because that is the team they are on. Overwatch 2 is currently ranked number 6 out of 7. If you love these games or just want something to do this would be an awesome thing for you!
