First and foremost, there will be spoilers for the Invincible series and comics so you have been warned. Along with that, the Invincible series is for audiences 16+ as the show features violence, mature themes, profanity and so on.
Now that Invincible Season 3 is out and has been the spotlight for a minute, I would like to give it a review and share my thoughts about the show. Personally, I absolutely adore this season as it, for the most part, sticks to what is featured in the comics made before the show.
The episodes this season in order are “You’re Not Laughing Now”, “A Deal With The Devil”, “You Want A Real Costume, Right?”, “You Were My Hero”, “This Was Supposed To Be Easy”, “All I Can Say Is I’m Sorry”, “What Have I Done?”, and lastly, “I Thought You’d Never Shut Up.”
Every episode in this season either deals with the main plot or has their own side plots such as future Immortal, Rex Splode and Shrinking Rae being a couple, Oliver getting his powers, Titan losing and taking back power of the city and so on.
I appreciate that a lot of characters are getting a lot more development compared to the comics like Rae and Rex being a thing which is then ended after Rex Splode sacrifices himself to take down one of the Evil Invincibles that were attacking the world in Episode 7. Even in that episode alone, many superheroes are killed along with the world being left in shambles.
Along with that, Episode 8 immediately starting with the fight with Conquest teased at the end of Episode 7 was so good and let us see a fight Invincible fans were dying to see be adapted into the show and in my opinion, did not disappoint one bit.
Some people complain about the animation and how it isn’t the best and at times is awful which personally I don’t really care for as long as the story is good and the animation is at least decent.
Overall, I loved this new Season of Invincible and cannot wait for Season 4 whenever it releases. This has been Luisrey Moreno Zamora from the BroncWriter, signing off.
