Idaho house passed a Memorial on January 28 to the supreme court suggesting to the court to revise the ruling on same sex marriage. In the memorial the Idaho State legislature calls upon the supreme court to reverse the decision of Obergefell v Hodges in order to “restore the natural definition of marriage” and defines marriage to be between a man and a woman.
Sponsor Rep. Heather Scott, R-Blanchard who presented House Joint Memorial 1 implied that the Federal government should not make decisions for the states.
