Hear me out, people. Are you tired of having to socialize in the bathrooms? Tired of the awkwardness of having to hear people pee? Or do number 2?
Music. Music in the bathrooms. Think about it, you are literally going into a public space to do a private deed. With strangers. Nothing could be any more awkward than that. Imagine if there were music though. It could be peaceful, calming, violin or even the possibility of piano. The music would let you tinkle in peace because people wouldn’t be able to hear you.
Or for example, have you ever come out of the stall at the same time as someone, and y’all awkwardly make eye contact through the mirror, washing your hands, in silence, while the toilets flush?
Now, imagine this exact same scenario but with music going on. The silence is filled. Then there would be less vandalism because everyone would be too busy listening to the music and not the weird silence. Your uncomfortable dilemma becomes just a situation.
It would be equivalent to that of elevator music.
