New Orleans, Louisiana February 9, 2025, The 59 Super Bowl took place. The Kansas City Chiefs played the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles had a powerful start to the game. They led the first half 27-0.
Kendrick Lamar performed at the Apple Halftime Show with some of his songs, including “Squabble Up” “Humble” “DNA” “Euphoria” “Man at the Garden” “Peekaboo” “Luther featuring SZA” “All the Stars featuring SZA” “Not Like Us” and “TV Off”. Actor Samuel Jackson was dressed as “Uncle Sam” to introduce the halftime show and comment on the songs being sung.
During the last half, the Eagles continued to maintain the lead. The Chiefs scored a few touchdowns, bringing them up to 22 points. The Eagles continued to score, bringing their score to 40. Ultimately, the Eagles had demolished the Chiefs by 18 points, winning the Super Bowl LIX.
Many celebrities were attending the game including Taylor Swift, Ice Spice, Donald Trump, and a few others. Trump said, “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the stadium…” Trump became the first President to attend a Super Bowl game but left early due to his team losing.
