Hey everybody I’m back from interviewing the man, the myth, the legend, Mr. Tyrel Smith!
Q: Why did you decide to teach?”
A: “My family had a big impact on my life, and many of them were teachers, so it seemed fitting.” Smith has had a long line of family members including cousins, aunts, grandparents, et cetera.
Q: Do you prefer sociology or psychology?”
A: “I prefer psychology for the student interest and real-life connections. I like sociology for the critical thinking moments and projects.” He doesn’t have a preference for either.
Q: “Do you enjoy your end-of-the-trimester sociology project?”
A: “I love my end of the tri project. It’s so fun to see students break norms, be creative, and push themselves outside their comfort zones.”
