The Christmas talent show was a list of amazing acts that included a group of ladies playing flutes and even a recreation of the Mean Girls act. All the participants received $20 as a participating award. Judges were allowed to judge based on a crowd favorite, third place, second place, and leading up to first place.
A crowd favorite was Michael Scott(12), Scott who gained $100. His spontaneous act was doing push-ups and he accomplished 50 push-ups in total!
The third place consisted of an act by Zaven Fairchild(12), Peyton Taylor(12), Carter Neff(12), Tyler Johnson (12), and Ridge Seamons (12) by singing “Mistletoe” by Justin Bieber. They were rewarded a total of $200.
Caden Corey(12) and Kimball Williams(10) were awarded $300 for singing “Man or a Muppet” by Jason Segel and Walter. Corey states “This was more of a fun act and it was fun to do.”
In first place were Xander Mortimer(12) and Ryan Hammond(12) with their Star Wars act.
Mortimer and Hammond had been practicing for months. Mortimer states, “I was thrilled that we got first place. All the time and effort was worth it.”
