Many valuable items, such as toy tractors, TVs, and more, were auctioned off in Blackfoot High School’s new gym. The assembly started with student council members singing the Star-Spangled Banner. Numerous items were sold for amazing deals. Including Mrs. Maldonaldos’s chips and salsa for selling over 70 dollars! Superintendent, Brian Kress, gave out hour lunches to the students of the High School as well.
The Ballroom gave a great performance with their amazing dancing skills and fabulous outfits. The marching band gave an excellent performance that was led by Mrs. Hutchinson. They played the song “Tequila”, and students participated in the song by shouting “Water!” throughout the song. The Bronco fillies and cheerleaders killed with their dance routines and cheers. There were also student raffles that were randomized allowing students to get an item without paying.
Some items that were given out for free were an Xbox, a Nintendo Switch, an Apple Watch Series 10, a Ninja Creami, AirPods 4, Beats Pro, an Xbox series X, and an iPad mini. The most money spent on a single item was a MacBook for $900. The overall amount of money being raised was about $16,400. All this money goes to families in need and provides Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners. The money is given to them to shop and purchase gifts for the holidays and supplies.
