With a thrilling 29-24 win over UNLV last Friday, Boise is looking arguably as good as they have in seasons such as 2009 and 2004. Boise is currently ranked #15 in the nation with only one loss to number #1 Oregon in a thriller game.
The team is currently ranked #1 in the Mountain West Conference and headlined by quarterback Maddux Madsen and Running Back Ashton Jeanty. With only one more out of conference opponent ahead (Oregon State), an undefeated season, and a shot at the college football playoffs is possible.
Ashton Jeanty has currently rushed for 1,376 yards and is on pace to break the record of 2,628 held by former Oklahoma State running back and NFL hall of famer, Barry Sanders, while Maddux Madsen has currently thrown for a respectable 1,482 yards.
Boise State hasn’t seen a season this impressive since 2019 when they finished with a 12-2 record and a loss to the Washington Huskies in the annual Vegas Bowl.
Could this be the year Boise brings home a National Championship?
