With Thanksgiving coming right across the corner, students and staff are given a week’s break for it from November 25 to November 28. Some students have plans for this year’s break while some are just sleeping and eating. To get some thoughts from others, I interviewed a couple of people about what they plan to do during the break. The questions that they were asked were what they have planned for Thanksgiving, what they would rate the holiday from 1-10 (1 being the worst holiday and 10 being the best holiday) and final thoughts. Now, let us begin with the interviews.
The first is a student at Blackfoot High School, Freya Dahlquist (12), who plans to sleep during the break which is more than likely what other students at Blackfoot High plan to do during the break. When asked what she would give the holiday on a 1-10 scale, Dahlquist gave it a solid 5 out of 10. For any final thoughts, Dahlquist commented, . “Pizza pizza.”
The second student who was interviewed was Joshua Wray (12). When asked what he has planned for Thanksgiving, Wray said, “I’m traveling down to Arizona to visit family in a small town in the mountains called Eagar.” For the second question, Wray responded with giving Thanksgiving 3 out of 10 with his final thoughts about the holiday being, “Thanksgiving isn’t great because all it has going for it is mediocre food. No joy, no fun, just gluttony.”
Hopefully, everyone is ready for Thanksgiving along with whatever it will bring. As always, this has been Luisrey Moreno Zamora, bringing your news about the campus through the BroncWriter, signing off.
