Latinos in Action has officially become an available class at Blackfoot High School.
The class features teachings on how to be a leader and how to improve your community and yourselves.
The class is NOT exclusive to Latinos and can be taken by anyone looking for leadership opportunities.
The class allows people to build confidence and gain responsibility. It allows people to take on challenges and build accountability.
The class is taught by Mrs. Paula Maldonado, who has been in charge of and running the program since its inception.
Within Maldonado’s program, Hannah Alcaraz Marquez (12) is the Secretary of Service, and Janessa Martinez (12) is the President.
Janessa stated that she joined the class and club because Maldonado felt it would be great for her. She said Maldonado was not wrong.
Hannah, on the other hand, was seeking out understanding on how to be a leader.
Come be a part of this amazing community. Latinos in action is both a class and a club, and each is filled to the brim with an excited and boisterous group of people all learning and leading together.
