Luis Angel Sanchez, named after his father, is a sophomore this 2021-2022 school year at Blackfoot High School(BHS). Sanchez is the youngest of four children; all of his siblings are grown and graduated. Sanchez has five pet birds who he says are annoying most of the time but sometimes are fun. He also has one pet cat. Sanchez’s favorite animal is a dog, specifically huskies. He says that he used to have a husky before. Sanchez says that his favorite class is PE because he likes to play basketball amongst other things. Sanchez describes himself as being an introvert, he is quiet and likes to keep to himself rather than hanging around lots of other people. Sanchez likes to play video games in his free time, one game he likes to play is APEX legends. Another thing that he likes to do is cook, he says that his mother teaches him how to cook sometimes. Sanchez also says that he likes to watch movies and his favorite type of movie is anything that is Marvel. With that, his favorite superhero is a Marvel superhero, Spiderman. Sanchez likes Spiderman so much that if he had to be any superhero, he would be Superman. Sanchez’s favorite ice cream flavor is vanilla ice cream, he says you can add a lot of things with vanilla ice cream.
Sanchez says that he did not intentionally join Newspaper, it was just on his schedule. Even though he didn’t choose to join Newspaper, he still says that it is a lot of fun, and he is enjoying it so far. The only club that he is in is Newspaper. Sanchez says that he used to play football last year, and this year he was debating joining soccer but he decided to focus on his schooling instead. After high school Sanchez says that he is not quite sure what he wants to do, he says he will probably just “go with the flow and see what happens”. He says that becoming a police officer or joining the military does interest him, he did not specify which branch of the military. Sanchez says that if he had to pick between being four years younger or ten years older, he would be four years younger because he remembers the memories and the fun that he used to have with his friends.
