Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse is a huge twist on the classic Spider-Man story. Throughout the movie, the old habits of spider man movies are pushed away and a new plot line emerges.

 In most super hero movies the hero has a set villain they are going after and the entire movie is based on them defeating that villain.

 Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse, couldn’t be more opposite of that. There are two major villains. The new spider man, Miles, fights battles between the two major villains; his father, his uncle, the classic spider man; Peter Parker, and even himself.

 The script for the movie is well written, with a surprising story that contains unforeseen plot twists.

 Spider Man  was produced in a animated style theme, but the graphics and soundtrack for the movie make you forget its animated. During the movie, the graphics and scenes make the movie feel like it isn’t animated and you are a part of the story.

 Throughout the movie, there are a large amount of jump scares designed for adrenaline during the most intense parts of the movie.

 Throughout the movie the viewers are able to get a deep understanding of all the characters, because of the way the characters are portrayed.

 The main character, Miles, is a character that’s changed and grown immensely throughout the plot of the movie. He goes through multiple challenges and is forced to overcome and grow from them.  

 I would definitely recommend this movie. It’s family friendly, but the humor, song choices, and story line is age appropriate for all ages.

 Overall, I felt like this movie was wonderfully animated, had a good story line, was cast well, and had good music selection.
